Working Together

I love it when I have the opportunity to work with John! I truly believe that we are better together...and I often wish we could be together all the time.

I don't get to spend every minute of the day with my beloved, but I do get to spend lots of time with him during wedding season. John and I have photographed almost every wedding together since I started my photography business a few years ago. I love working with him because we know each other so well. We know each other's strengths and weaknesses. We know our equipment. We know the wedding day plan. We anticipate each other's needs and we know our work flow so well that we hardly have to talk about it.

This past weekend's wedding reminded me how much I enjoy being one with my husband. We are better together and I wouldn't want to live life any other way.

We took these photos at the same time.

Father and Daughter Time

I often say that I would not be who I am if it wasn't for my family and friends - and I mean that! If it wasn't for John, I would not be able to still pursue photography as a mommy. I had two photo sessions this past weekend and I am so thankful John is always willing to watch Sariah so I can go enjoy something I am passionate about!

I came home after a lovely engagement session and this is what I saw as soon as I walked in the door:

I love seeing them together!

Maternity Photos

My dear friend and photographer, Hailey, took our maternity photos a few weeks ago and I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you all!

As a photographer, I get to capture lots of special moments for many people...but I am hardly ever in front of the camera. This maternity session helped relate to my clients a little bit more!

Inspired by Colors

I love going to Home Depot and looking at all the different paint colors available. When I see all the colors together, it makes me want to buy a gallon of paint for each color and start painting the world. However, when it comes to picking colors for my own home, I think I tend to be a bit boring...

I stick with earth tones and neutral colors. I know there is nothing wrong with that, but I guess what I am trying to say is that my living habitat is very different from the paint isle at Home Depot.

This past weekend, I got to photograph a bridal session for a middle school friends who happened to have lots of colors incorporated in her wedding details and I felt like I was in heaven. I couldn't get enough of pinks, reds, oranges, purples, blues...and now I want to add more color to my world!

Looking Forward to This:

If our baby girl is anything like me, she will get a bit of hair around her second birthday...but with hair or without, I am SO looking forward to cuddling with her!

I recently photographed a newborn and spending time with a tiny baby made me so excited to meet Sariah Faith.

Prepare yourselves to see lots of photos of her once she is born!

Catching Up to the Present

It has been a while since the last time I wrote...so I thought I would give you all a little update on what has been going on with the Nobiles!
Right after Easter I hopped on a plane and headed to San Francisco to spend some time with a dear friend. I flew stand-by and I was so thankful everything worked out! I even made it through the airport security without having anything taken away or being chosen for the 'special security' search.

Here are a few photos from my trip:

This is what I learned while visiting San Francisco:
  • It costs a lot of money to ride the trolley.
  • The weather can look a whole lot like Seattle's.
  • People seem to be terrified of the rain...and every single person carries an umbrella.
  • The hills are absolutely breathtaking.
  • The Bart is incredible. I mean, I was under the water and didn't even know!
Shortly after returning to the beautiful Washington, I started getting ready to photograph a wedding in Anacortes. I am still in the process of editing images, but here is a little preview of the beautiful couple:

More photos will be posted soon: www.daniellynobile.com

I know this post is already too long...but I have to share one more thing with with you all! Ready? I felt the baby move!!!! The only way I can describe how it felt is by saying that it felt like someone was trying to tickle me from the inside. I cannot wait to meet this little person. :)

So Thankful!

I wrote here that I was going to share a little bit about how the Lord has been our provider this past year.  Well, the more I think about it, the more thankful I become. Are you ready to be thankful with me?

·         I am thankful for another year of life: 25 happened to come and go really fast…26, here I come in a few weeks!

·         I am thankful for John’s new job which he loves and has lots of opportunities to grow.

·         I am thankful for the friends who housed John for a few months before we moved to a new city.

·         I am thankful for a patient husband who loves me despite my many breakdowns this past year.

·         I am thankful for three years of marriage: this was a hard year full of changes and challenges yet it was wonderful to stand with the one I love in the hard moments.

·         I am thankful for the photography opportunities that have just landed on my lap (or in my inbox).

·         I am thankful for the opportunities to see dear friends get married.

·         I am thankful for friends who were willing to help us pack all our belongings and magically make it all fit in a UHaul.

·         I am thankful for the friends who helped us unpack the UHaul.

·         I am thankful for beautiful waterfalls and many amazing hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest.

·         I am thankful for the opportunity to photograph my first wedding with my lovely husband. We are a great team!

·         I am thankful for the time John and I have had to read together.

·         I am thankful for Gluten-Free recipes.

·         I am thankful for friends who have reached out to us during our lonely days in a new city.

·         I am thankful for skype and the way I can chat with friends who are far away geographically but very close to my heart!

·         I am thankful for the way God has provided financially so that John and I could pay off all our debt. Praise God for a debt free time of life!

·         I am thankful for a husband that spent hours after work helping me create a new photography website.

·         I am thankful for my new photography website. Go check it out and feel free to leave some love: daniellynobile.com

·         I am thankful for family and wish we lived closer to all our relatives.

·         I am thankful for sermons that speak to my heart!

Above all,  I am thankful for a loving and compassionate God who calls me his own! He continues to shower me with gifts and love when I do not deserve it and I will forever be thankful for His faithfulness.

Danielly Nobile Photography

I mentioned here that I was embarking on a new adventure, and I am happy to announce that my photography website is now public!!!

John and I have been working on daniellynobile.com for the past few weeks and I am so happy with the "final" result! Well, I say "final," because I still have a lot of work to do: create more galleries, publish posts from the past year, figure out how to add LinkWithin to the posts, etc.

Every hour spent trying to learn how to create a site that reflects who I am was very much worth it!
I truly hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Also, I want to thank everyone who have encouraged me in this adventure!

Again: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I have felt very blessed to have had the support of friends and family throughout the past two years.

P.S. Feel free to share my website with all your family and friends!
