A Year Ago

My oh my, time really is flying by!

A year ago I was beyond excited to graduate. Family and friends were in town. Parties were planned. Gifts were received. The sun was shining and I was sitting in the middle of a crowd of students with some awesome friends!

I can hardly believe that was a year ago.

A year full of surprises.

Today, I am a short distance away from the husky stadium where thousands of students will be graduating in just a few hours. However, I am not wearing a robe or a Hawaiian lei.

I am sitting next to John's bed at UW Medical Center. The sun is shinning and I can see the stadium right outside the window.

I have a feeling that today is going to be a good day!
