We are Having a Girl...
...and her name is Sariah Faith Nobile.
The name Sariah is of Hebrew origin, meaning "Princess of the Lord."
We pray that our daughter will grow up knowing how precious she is to her Father in heaven and that she will always choose to live by faith:
"being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
We can't wait to meet our little girl!

Catching Up to the Present
It has been a while
since the last time I wrote...so I thought I would give you all a little update on what has been going on with the Nobiles!
Right after Easter I hopped on a plane and headed to San Francisco to spend some time with a dear friend. I flew stand-by and I was so thankful everything worked out! I even made it through the airport security without having anything taken away or being chosen for the 'special security' search.
Here are a few photos from my trip:
This is what I learned while visiting San Francisco:

Here are a few photos from my trip:
This is what I learned while visiting San Francisco:
- It costs a lot of money to ride the trolley.
- The weather can look a whole lot like Seattle's.
- People seem to be terrified of the rain...and every single person carries an umbrella.
- The hills are absolutely breathtaking.
- The Bart is incredible. I mean, I was under the water and didn't even know!
I know this post is already too long...but I have to share one more thing with with you all! Ready? I felt the baby move!!!! The only way I can describe how it felt is by saying that it felt like someone was trying to tickle me from the inside. I cannot wait to meet this little person. :)

Jesus Has Risen
Luke 24:1-12
1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8 Then they remembered his words.
9 When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. 11 But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. 12 Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.

It is a Good Friday
Isaiah 53:4-6
4 Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

Afternoon Snack Gone Wrong
I had
been wanting to eat Greek yogurt with homemade strawberry jam and honey...so I made myself this perfect snack. Unfortunately, right after I got it ready, I dropped a glass container from the cupboard above the counter and my yummy snack became the home to MANY pieces of glass. As a matter of fact, the whole kitchen was filled with tiny pieces of glass and instead of snacking, I had to spend a long time cleaning it all up. Sometimes our plans just don't go as we plan!

Spring Hike
John and I have been taking advantage of every sunny day to be outside, exploring new hiking areas and praising God for his creativity. A week ago we got to hike with a few friends who were visiting! Oh, I have to also tell you that these friends (Chad and Anna) brought me a perfect burrito bowl from Chipotle!!! I had already eaten dinner when they arrived, but I could not go to bed before eating up every single bit of that yummy burrito. Maybe it's a good thing we don' have a Chipotle in town...
